Waiting to begin

Sitting here setting up the class landing page I am starting to feel excited about the journey that is about to begin. I am really excited to be working with the West Melton Community. A little about me. My name is Aaron Taylor, students can call me Mr T or Mr Taylor. I have previously taught at Casebrook Intermediate in Christchurch, Sultan Sharif Ali in Brunei, Springlands School in Blenheim and recently the International Academy Amman in Jordan. I am married to Amanda and have two teenage boys named Jordan and Liam. I love teaching and the rewards that go with it (including holidays). I enjoy challenging children's understanding and developing their skills required to be reflective and questioning. I aim to have a collaborative learning community where students are having fun, collaborating and gaining new knowledge that will help them be successful citizens. I enjoy e-learning as I believe it helps to support the necessary skills required in todays world. I consider myself very sporty and enjoy playing and watching all sports. Can't wait to begin the new year!
